Alex Bingham
Producer
Alex has worked in sound archives, the music industry and audio production, and joined the Rushforth team as a producer in January 2013.
Since graduating with a History degree from Durham University in 2007, Alex has thrown herself into all things audio, beginning with digitising dusty old 78s for the English Folk Dance and Song Society in Camden. Following this, she spent 19 months in the BBC sound archive at Maida Vale Studios, before taking up a logistical role with the “all-singing, all-strumming” Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.
Throughout this time, Alex has been honing her production skills, creating audio features for the Ukulele Orchestra and Pod Academy, and gaining experience on BBC radio programmes and at Whistledown Productions (2012 Indie of the Year). She is involved with the creative radio collective, In The Dark, and indulges her love of music by singing with the Cecil Sharp House Community Choir.
